What we collect

When you nominate, vote, register interest in attending or contact us, we collect the details you provide: names, phone numbers, email addresses, organisation details and the content of your submission. Voting requires a phone number solely to verify one vote per category per person.

How we use it

• Processing nominations, votes, RSVPs and inquiries for the Mkulima Awards 2026.
• Verifying vote integrity (one verified vote per category per phone number).
• Contacting you about the status of your nomination or accreditation.
• Aggregate, anonymised statistics (e.g. total votes per category).

What we don't do

We do not sell your data. We do not publish voter identities. Vote tallies are only ever published in aggregate. Nominee details are only published if the nominee is shortlisted, and shortlisted nominees are contacted first.

Retention & your rights

Season data is retained for the duration of the 2026 cycle and archived after the Impact Report is published. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to info@mkulimaawards.co.tz.
